I’ve been in dire need of a better watch, so I was really excited to find this chic one by Citizen. I love buying men’s watches and getting them fitted to my wrist – women’s watches just seem a tad too small for my taste (surprise, surprise!). I paired it with my new skirt from Apricot Lane, a cute boutique in Nashville – I went there for the first time the other day and loved this high/low skirt. This is one trend that I’m really into for the spring and summer.

Also, I’m heading to LA this week – please let me know if you all have any shopping/eating/fun recommendations!

Since it was another unusually warm day in Nashville, I was able to flounce around in this beauty by Zamrie and my new Zara pumps. I love this dress because of the relaxed fit & beautiful back detailing – the whole outfit was simple in the front and fun in the back :)

I was also trying a really natural makeup look courtesy of rockstar makeup artist, Mizzie Logan. Sometimes it’s fun to change it up! Hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day!

I’ve always loved this jacket – the stunning textures, print, and layers are just breathtaking. Oddly enough, I posted this jacket exactly a year ago! I try not to wear items too close together and as I was doing a little research, I found out that I wore this coat on January 28, 2012. Isn’t that crazy?

Oh, and I can’t wait to tell you guys about some fun new things coming up on the blog. I’ve had this site for four years and love how it grows with me every step of the way – stay tuned!

I’ve never had a really chic winter coat…until this year. This Zara beauty is one of the most stunning (and warmest!) coats I’ve ever owned – I’m obsessed with the gorgeous collar, peek-a-boo quilted leather sleeves, and stunning architecture. Needless to say, this piece is getting a lot of wear this season!
