hear i go again, apologizing for not blogging much. but instead of just that i’ll explain to you why i haven’t been updating regularly for the past few months! i’ve been hard at work on my ep (coming out april 24th!) and instead of spending my free time blogging, i dedicated that time to delving back into the fabulous world of pop music. it’s been really fun, but being away from the blog made me realize how much i miss the blogosphere. it also reminded me how so much of my life now has come from this blog – i’ve made friends from all of over the world and gotten to participate in some really cool ventures. also, when i moved back to nashville, this was my way of meeting people and developing the amazing friend group that i have now…so long story short, thank you for your patience & thanks for reading this blog – it means the world to me!!

the reason i haven’t been updating my site as often as i used to is because i’ve been knee deep in a huge project: MY DEBUT EP! for those of you that don’t know, music has always been my #1 love – i grew up singing and performing, got my bachelor of music degree from the university of miami, and recently spent a few months touring in south america!

so my big announcement is that i’ll be releasing the first single, “RUNWAY”, this tuesday 3/20! it’s the first song off my EP, glamtronic, and i can’t wait for all of you to hear it :) the photos above are some behind the scenes pics from the covershoot – i’ll be sharing all the finished results very soon (it was literally one of the most fun days ever and i had the most amazing team!).

i know i keep apologizing for my blogging absence, but it’s been great to take a few weeks off and get recharged! oh and just so you know – i’ve picked up a serious new hobby: PAINTING. well, so far i’ve only painted two shelves white – but, if you saw the sheer joy in my face every time i started painting those shelves you’d be laughing hysterically! i even have a new friend at home depot, although i’m fairly certain this hobby probably won’t last more than a few weeks :)

all of that leads me to my latest find: a beautiful vintage diane von furstenburg jumpsuit from one of my favorite vintage shops in town: diamond star halo. unfortunately they’ll be closing their doors soon…but get this…EVERYTHING IS 80% off. yup. if you live in nashville, i’d recommend heading over there immediately – there are some serious bargains!

hope everyone is having a great week – it’s my 25th birthday saturday, so i’m getting ready to celebrate :)

i’ve pretty much been living in this aztec-inspired sweater recently – it’s so comfortable & cozy! nashville weather has been utterly crazy, so i was lucky enough to wear it over my cut offs one last time.

btw, i’m heading to chicago this weekend! any recommendations on where to visit/eat/shop?
