so…i’m confused. the weather has me dripping sweat one minute and then freezing the next. truth be told, i find fall perfectly strange. oh well, i kind of like it because it keeps things interesting. i decided to wear this long sweater because it’s so cozy and fantastic – i’ve literally had it for years and i always find myself coming back to it!

this weekend should be fun – i’m going to all sorts of fun events for a music festival in nashville called soundland. let me know if any of you are going to be there!

i wore this outfit to an amazing ice cream store opening – have you guys heard of jeni’s ice cream?? it’s delicious! they have all sorts of fun flavors like wildberry lavender and goat cheese with red cherries!

ice cream talk aside, i was really excited to wear this aztec rockee top that the sweet girls of southern and city sent me! i must say it’s perfect for summer: light, airy, and seriously versatile (it works great as a swimsuit coverup too!). for more information on southern and city you can check out their website and facebook page.

btw did you guys notice the blonde in my hair? i decided to change it up a little :)

i had my hair done a few days ago and decided to change it up a little – i haven’t had color in my hair since high school, so i thought it’d be fun to try it out again! the new lewk (as brad goreski would say) inspired me to rock this leopard-trim jacket and despite the fact i love this piece, i quickly realized i could have used about 15 more layers because it was freezing! oh well, it was totally worth it :)

i’m currently snowed in to my house, and although the start of mercedes-benz fashion week will keep me highly entertained, i could use movie suggestions, jokes, or anything else you think i might enjoy!

i’ve been wanting these shoes for about a year and i FINALLY purchased them! needless to say, i’m beyond excited to have them as a part of my shoe collection. i decided to wear them with my most comfortable maxi skirt and this great leopard belt. for those of you who don’t have a leopard belt, i highly recommend buying one – i find myself throwing it on over everything!

btw – who else is ready for summer? i could really use a sun dress, the beach, and a mojito!
