The Trunk + A Little Pop

I had such a fabulous time at The Trunk’s fabulous relaunch last weekend! They had the event at Lucy Pop Salon, who rolled out the red carpet and treated all of us to fabulous blow outs and some amazing Pretty Pretty Pop Pop swag. For those of you that don’t know, The Trunk is Nashville’s first mobile fashion truck and it’s owned by rockstar stylist, Abby Franklin. When I say rockstar, I mean it – her client roster includes Michael Jackson, Prince, Bon Jovi, and Madonna to name a few!

I absolutely love how Abby revamped The Trunk by curating it to include some amazing (and affordable!) women’s pieces, a great collection of menswear, and jewels that will blow your mind! To find out when they’ll be in your neighborhood, be sure to follow them on twitter @TheTrunkNash!

Tried a retro do yesterday – thank god my hair is finally getting long enough to start styling it new ways (although, this development has me spending WAY too much time on YouTube hair tutorials!). I paired it with this fantastic jacket I got in 5th grade for a dance/singing recital – I found it the other day when I was cleaning out my closet, score! Topped off the whole look with these awesome hand-painted Vivienne Kelly earrings – I’m totally obsessed with triangles right now, so I just let them feed my addiction…

What are you guys up to this weekend? I’m helping my brother out with his supper club for most of the weekend, but am going to try to soak up some of the warm weather we have coming our way as well!

Los Angeles // Photo Memories

I spent 10 days in Los Angeles and totally fell in love with the city (doesn’t that last photo look unreal??). Since I hadn’t been to LA in almost ten years, I spent my days exploring neighborhoods and meeting as many people as possible – not to mention hang out with my best friend Amber who recently moved across the country! My favorite shops were in Silverlake – most notably Dust Muffin and ReForm School. I also loved Lamill for coffee and Pizzeria Mozza for dinner – both places were perfectly delicious!

The trip was just magical.

I’ve been in dire need of a better watch, so I was really excited to find this chic one by Citizen. I love buying men’s watches and getting them fitted to my wrist – women’s watches just seem a tad too small for my taste (surprise, surprise!). I paired it with my new skirt from Apricot Lane, a cute boutique in Nashville – I went there for the first time the other day and loved this high/low skirt. This is one trend that I’m really into for the spring and summer.

Also, I’m heading to LA this week – please let me know if you all have any shopping/eating/fun recommendations!
