finally debuting two of my favorite new items: my first pleated skirt (yay!) and this fabulous marti mcfli tee! the marti mcfli collection is designed by my friend chance (he's also a fantastic musician - check out his website HERE). i picked up the tee at one of my favorite local boutiques, bullets & mullets, where they carry lots of his pieces! there's actually a button up that i'm craving, but i recently started cleaning out my closet and realized i need to put myself on a shopping hiatus! i'm assuming this will last for a solid three days...

i always love the combination of a wicked tee with some very sophisticated piece. and that is what you did. the white color looks so bright and fresh, but the red makes you glow. it is unbelievable how fabulous the red color is for you. the skirt has a lot of movement so it is perfect for a perfect spring day. but what i love the most are the black boots because it never ever would wear this combination myself! it is very tricky to wear black boots with a skirt because they can make you look like a cut off tree (it is like they cut your leg off). but this combination looks smashing
